Starting with a project to establish the Faculty of Health Sciences Srinakharinwirot University, Bang Saen Campus.

1984

 Srinakharinwirot University, Bang Saen Campus agreed to contain a project to establish the Faculty of Health Sciences and bachelor of science program in health science to the Higher Education Development Plan Phase 6 (1987-1991) of Srinakharinwirot University, Bang Saen Campus.

Changed a project to establish the Faculty of Health Sciences, Srinakharinwirot University, Bang Saen Campus to be a project to establish the Faculty of Public Health Burapha University.

27 December 1988

 At meeting no. 4/2531, the coordinating sub-committee for establishment a new university in the provincial has resolved that division of government in Burapha University consisted of 13 departments, assigning the Faculty of Public Health as the 8th faculty from division of government in Burapha University by changing name from the Faculty of Health Sciences to be the Faculty of Public Health.

8 May 1991

 Agreed to establish the Faculty of Public Health.

12 December 1991

 At meeting no. 12/2534, the Higher Education Commission Committee agreed to establish the Faculty of Public Health as a project within the Office of Dean to prepare for the establishment of a complete faculty.

Built "Mahitaladhibesra Building", Faculty of Public Health Burapha University.

25 September 1992

 Started to build the building of administrative and health science laboratory, consisting of 3 buildings with receiving an obligated budget of 250 million baht for 3 years, scheduled to complete in August 1994.

12 November 1993

 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej signed his signature and named a building of the Faculty of Public Health under construction as "Mahitaladhibesra Building" in accordance with the name of "Father of Thai Public Health".

9 September 1994

 Relocated the office of the Faculty of Public Health from the temporary office, 5th floor of Sirindhorn Building to Mahitaladhibesra Building which is the office of the Faculty of Public Health at present.

25 January 1995

 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn as a chairman of the opening ceremony of Mahitaladhibesra Building, Srinakarin Building and 60th Anniversary Queen Sirikit Building.

Royal Decree on division of government of the Faculty of Public Health Burapha University.

21 December 1993

 The Cabinet approved a project with approval based on the opinion of the Budget Bureau and approval in principle of drafting Royal Decree to establish the Faculty of Public Health Burapha University and approval in principle of drafting of Higher Education Commission Committee Announcement, subject the division of government in the faculty of public health Burapha University and sent to the Office of the Council of State for review.

2 March 1994

 His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej issued the royal command to announce that whereas it is expedient to establish the Faculty of Public Health and the Office of Academic Services In Burapha University, the Higher Education Commission and the Secretariat of the Cabinet published in the Royal Gazette, Issue Royal Decree, Volume 111, Part 10 Ghor, Page 51-52, dated 25 March 1994.

18 April 1994

 Office of the Higher Education Commission has issued the announcement of the Higher Education Commission, subject division of government in Burapha University (No. 4) B.E. 2537 (1994), Article 7 say that division of government in the Faculty of Public Health Burapha University consists of 4 departments and 1 office namely;

  • Department of Fundamentals of Public Health
  • Department of Industrial Hygiene and Safety
  • Department of Health Education
  • Department of Environmental Health
  • and Office of the Secretary

which the Secretariat of the Cabinet has announced in Government Gazette, Issue General Announcement, Volume 111, Part 39 Ngor, Page 8, dated 17 May 1994.

Currently, Faculty of Public Health Burapha University

has performed missions in accordance with intention in the establishment of the Faculty of Public Health Burapha University and has made progress continually as well with the main mission is to produce graduates, study & research, art and culture conversation and provide academic service to communities. Faculty of Public Health has launched new programs both at the bachelor's and master's degrees, in collaboration with agencies and universities both domestically and internationally, providing a measurement service project on environmental, industrial hygiene and occupational safety and others, conducting a research in public health and health extensively and always promoting and maintain art and culture conversation as well.
